今年夏天在美國紐約州長島的南安普敦，由 The Chainsmokers 所發起了一場音樂活動，遭到當局以違反公共衛生法處以2萬美元的罰款。

看似立意良善的活動，一方面能夠讓大眾紓解身心，也能夠透過銷售的費用給予需要幫助的單位，但7月下旬的一則影片在 Twitter 上發布，該影片指出這場活動有許多人不尊重社交距離的規定，一群人湧進舞台前，當時紐約州是「武漢肺炎」（COVID-19）人數增長最快的州之一，這消息傳到了紐約州長 Andrew Cuomo 的手上，隨即要求衛生部門進行全面調查。

幾個月後，Andrew Cuomo 在 Twitter 上公布衛生部門的調查，表示該活動已經違反公共衛生法，將對活動發起人 The Chainsmokers 處以2萬美元的罰款。
NEW: Following an investigation into the Chainsmokers concert in the Hamptons this summer, the promoters will be fined $20,000 for violating public health law.
Further, the Town of Southampton cannot approve permits for group gatherings without State approval.
